Hurricanes and Natural Disasters:
It is the policy of Marina Bay Animal Hospital to require that owners evacuate with their pets when an impending dangerous storm is anticipated to hit the area. If your pet is boarding when a dangerous storm approaches, we will make every effort to contact you and/or your emergency contacts and request that you pick up your pet prior to any closures.
In the event of a “mandatory evacuation” order or closing of the facility, you or your representative will be responsible for picking up your pet within 2 HOURS. If we cannot contact you, or arrangements cannot be made to have your pet picked up, Marina Bay Animal Hospital will take all possible precautions to care for your pet while it is boarding. Due to the unpredictability of these types of storms; however, if a mandatory evacuation of the area is ordered, Marina Bay Animal Hospital staff must evacuate. If your pet is not picked up within the allotted time, we will make sure that your pet has plenty of food and water prior to evacuation. We cannot guarantee; however, the safety of your pet, nor can we be certain as to when we will be able to gain access to the boarding facility after the storm passes.
I have read the above and understand that I am responsible for providing contact information for a designated person(s) that will pick up my pet(s) if needed. I have also informed them that I have provided their information for this reason. If I am unable to do so and a mandatory evacuation is ordered or the facility is unable to stay open, I understand that I will be boarding my pet at my own risk.
Please make the emergency contact name/phone required.
