Your best resource for any animal poison-related emergency, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. If you think that your pet may have ingested a potentially poisonous substance, please call them. A $65 consultation fee may be applied to your credit card.

Animal Control is dedicated to educating/informing the public of their responsibilities to their animals, their neighborhood, and ultimately to their community, then enforcing the ordinances of our city when our education efforts are not enough.

Galveston County Animal Resource Center – 409-948-2485

The Galveston County Animal Services Division provides both Field Animal Control Services and Animal Sheltering. The Galveston County Animal Resource Center is the largest animal shelter in Galveston County, providing shelter to more than 8,000 animals each year. The shelter is an open-intake facility where no animal will be turned away.

Recycled Canines

A non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to saving the lives of the many homeless Dalmatians around Houston. They usually have a few canines without spots as well!

Friends of League City Animal Shelter

A 501(c)3 nonprofit organization whose purpose is to increase the number of adoptions to qualified homes, to recruit and train additional foster home caregivers for animals pending adoption, to promote the spaying and neutering of animals, and to provide volunteer assistance and funding to local shelters to support the humane care and treatment of animals.
